In order to market anything on the Internet, people need to be able to find your site, and then stay there once they do. So the question is, "How Do I Make That Happen?" Below are some of the most important ways to really get traffic to your site, and have that " breakout moment" away from your competition!
Keywords Rule!
Content is King!
Once the visitors are on your site, you need to have good, relevant content in order to keep them there and convert them to customers. Content can include informative articles, audio and video files, and even links to and from relevant blogs on the subject. When adding your content, make sure it is also rich with the keywords you researched above. That will make the search engines more likely to "see" your site and improve your ranking.
Don't Overdo the Layout
Many people make the mistake of thinking that their site needs to be super-flashy, with all the bells and whistles they can throw in it. For some sites, that may make sense. However, if your site is too flashy and cluttered, your visitors may not be able to figure out what it is you want them to do. You need to have a call to action, and your visitors need to know what it is! So instead, make sure that your site clean and uncluttered. Eye-catching colors and graphics should be used to draw the viewer's eyes to your call to action.
I Need Help!
There are many courses and companies that can assist you in generating traffic to your site, and also helping you to make a design that will get and keep your visitors attention. The goal here is obviously to convert your visitors into accepting and acting on your call to action. Generating traffic is an ongoing challenge once your site is designed, and anything that can assist in that task is beneficial.
